Cashew nuts

Cashew nuts are kidney-shaped nuts in a hard shell that hang under the cashew apple: the fruit of the tropical cashew tree. They are white in colour and have a surprisingly sweet taste. The nuts are deliciously crunchy, full of protein and also contain a lot of minerals. Another great benefit of the cashew nut is That it contains less fat than other types of nuts! In the past, these nuts were mainly used in Indian cooking, but today we also like to use them in our biscuits!

Belgian dark chocolate

Jules Destrooper only uses the very best Belgian chocolate. Barry Callebaut even created a unique recipe for us. With cocoa beans from America, Africa and Asia (all with the UTZ label, the quality mark for sustainable agriculture), which combine to create a very specific flavour. First we carefully weigh all the ingredients, after which they are mixed into the delicious chocolate which makes our biscuits taste so good. 

Lace Biscuits with Cashews & Belgian Chocolate

A crunchy, yet ultra-fine cookie that combines the fine taste of pure butter, cashews and candi sugar. Finished with a nice layer of dark Belgian chocolate according to our own recipe. A true delicacy, as fine as lace.
